Nuweiba

Hilton Nuweiba Coral Resort

Introduction to Holidays in Nuweiba

Nuweiba is beautiful both above and below the water. You will find the longest and widest stretches of powder-white sand beaches in the whole Sinai region here. In addition, the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea, brimming with spectacular coral reefs, ideal for snorkeling and diving are right on your doorstep.
If your holiday is all about relaxing, then Nuweiba is just the place. This small, laid back resort is extremely peaceful and the perfect place for recharging your batteries.

If you’d prefer your Nuweiba holiday to be a little more active, you could use the opportunity to explore some of the fascinating sights in the area. Take your pick from the nearby coloured canyon, St Catherine’s Monastery and Mount Sinai, Cairo, Petra in Jordan or Jerusalem and the Dead Sea in Israel.
Camel, jeep and quad bike safaris for you to explore the mystical Sinai desert are also available if you are feeling adventurous.

Climate in Nuweiba

A holiday in the sun, under Nuweiba’s blue sky is practically guaranteed in this part of Egypt’s Sinai desert. Similar to that of Dahab and Taba, Nuweiba enjoys summer highs in excess of 35°C. If you are looking for a winter holiday in the sun, temperatures rarely dip much below 20°C making Nuweiba an ideal place for a relaxed winter getaway. Rainfall is minimal but if it is going to rain it doesn’t usually last for long.

Best Time to go

Nuweiba is a year round holiday destination and it really depends on how hot you like it as to when is the best time to go. If you like it hot, hot, hot and just want to relax and unwind then the peak summer months of July and August may be for you. Things start cooling down towards the end of September and throughout the winter months which make it a great time for touring the area. Fortunately, even during the winter the water temperature is usually still a very comfortable 23°C at least, making Nuweiba a great year round diving and snorkelling destination.
