Filitheyo is 900m long and 500m wide at the outer reef end and is the only island resort in the un-spoilt Faafu Atoll. Filitheyo is located between two channels on the eastern side of the Faafu Atoll, approximately 120 kilometres, 35 minutes by seaplane + a further 10 minutes by speedboat from Malé Airport.

Best Time to go
The best time to visit Filitheyo Island Resort is from December to April. During these months this island is at its driest. From May to September there is a chance of rain but Filitheyo gets most of its rain during June and July. The temperature and climate, make Filitheyo an ideal destination for snorkeling and diving.
The average daily temperature ranges from 25ºC to 30ºC and it is generally warm and humid with gentle sea breeze. The calmest seas and bluest skies are generally around April, while the roughest seas are in June and October with water temperatures ranging from 25ºC to 30ºC throughout the year.
