Bandos is one of the larger Islands at 178,900 sqm in total land area. It is a very well established Island encircled by the turquoise lagoon, lush green vegetation and white sandy beaches.
Ideally located, just 7km from Malé International airport, Bandos is a lively Island proving a popular choice with families. There are many activities both above and below the water on offer for guests to experience including a spectacular house reef home to turtles, reef sharks and rays, plus a choice of watersports including waterskiing, windsurfing and banana boat rides.

Bandos Island is situated in the North Male Atoll, conveniently located only 7km from Malé International airport and is reached by boat, a journey of approximately 15 minutes.

The best time to visit Bandos Island Resort is from December to April when the island is at its driest. The temperature and climate make Kuredu an ideal destination for snorkeling and diving.
The average daily temperature ranges from 25ºC to 30ºC and it is generally warm and humid with gentle sea breeze. The calmest seas and bluest skies are generally around April, while the roughest seas are in June and October with water temperatures ranging from 25ºC to 30ºC throughout the year.
