Climate in Hurghada and Sahl Hasheesh
The Egyptian Red Sea is a year-round destination with temperatures rarely dropping below 20 degrees Celsius in the winter months. At the peak of summer, around July and August, temperatures can rise in excess of 35 degrees Celsius though there is always a pleasant costal breeze with most resorts located on the shore of the Red Sea.
Best Time To Go
April to June and October to November are popular months as air temperatures are usually the most pleasant. Temperatures can drop significantly in the evenings during the coldest months of January and February; however, a light jacket is usually all visitors need to stay comfortable.
The water temperature of the Red Sea ranges from 22 to 29 degrees Celsius over the year.
Being a desert area, there is very little rainfall in the Red Sea.
